Revised Schedule

We hope you've come through Hurricane Sandy and current Nor’easter safely. It looks like it’s going to be a long winter L. As school was closed last week, we missed an important meeting. Dues and well as senior toiletries were due last week. Since we’re having school this week, we’re re-scheduling last week’s Girl Scout meeting for this Friday, November 9^th. Everything that would have been due last week will now be due on Friday.

Senior Luncheon

Don’t forget – The Girl Scouts are hosting a luncheon for the seniors at Norman Towers in East Orange on Saturday, November 17th. The luncheon is from 11:30-1:30. At the luncheon we present each senior with a gift bag, so we’re asking that each girl donate 2-3 toiletry items (soap, lotion, etc) to give to the seniors. Please make sure your daughter brings the toiletry items to the scout meeting this Friday, so we will have time to pack the bags.

All girls must be in uniform to and must be dropped off by 11:30am. Parents are welcome to stay and help but please no tag-a-longs. Parents must provide transportation to and from the event. If you are donating a dish for the event, please see Ms. Tarah or Ms. Monique, as they are coordinating the food.

Nut Sale

 Although we are winding down for our fall Candy and Nut Sale, it’s not too late to participate. Final orders are due November 18^th and will be delivered the week of December 12^th. Remember - the troop earns $1.00 for each nut item and $1.50 for each magazine subscription sold. Please note girls will not earn prizes on late orders.

Additionally, all girls who have not completed an address book will receive one at the meeting on Friday. Please complete the address booklet even if your child is not participating in the sale. The troop receives $3.00 for each completed address booklet without anyone selling a thing!

Dues & Registration

The 2^nd dues payment is due to Mrs. Holman on Friday, November 9^th. The final payment is due on December 7^th.  Remember your dues payment covers the cost of books and other supplies for girls as well as our snacks.

Also please make sure all registration forms are turned in as soon as possible.
