The Nut Sale is Ongoing!!!

It's not too late to earn more patches from the Nut Sale. Your daughter can still earn all 4 patch segments pictured. Here’s how –

1 – Send 15 or more emails to friends and family to earn the “Online” segment;

2 – Complete the address booklet to earn the 2016-2017” segment;

3 – Sell 15 or more nut items to earn the “Explore Koala” segment;

4 – Sell/renew 3 magazine orders to earn the “Shine On Koala” segment.

Follow this link for Online Patch and register with your daughter's troop number to send emails. Troop numbers are listed below.

Complete the address coupon booklet date enclosed in the nut packet with the contact information of 8 people. Don’t worry if you’ve misplaced yours, we have a few extra booklets.

Although we've placed the initial order for the fall Candy and Nut Sale, girls can still sell more. 2^nd orders are due November 4^th and final orders are due December 2^nd. Remember - the troop earns $1.00 for each nut item, $1.50 for each magazine order and $2.00 for each completed address booklet. In addition, this year girls will earn prizes on all orders. So keep sending emails, keep selling nuts & magazines don’t forget to turn in the address booklets.

Everyone who placed an initial nut order will be able to pick up the order before Thanksgiving.   

Hip Hop Nutcracker

What do you get when you combine the elegant holiday score of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and a DJ with pin-sharp contemporary hip hop dance?  A modern mashed up holiday treat entitled the “Hip Hop Nutcracker”.  This production moves the story action to New Year's Eve, replaces the mouse army with a mouse-ear wearing gang, has a humble nut seller who saves the day, and the Land of the Sweets is a nightclub trapped in 1985.

4^th Tier tickets are $35 per person for the December 17^th show. If you would like to attend the performance, payment is due Friday, November 18^th. Since we’ll be getting a block of tickets, no late payments will be accepted. The cost includes bus transportation. We’ll be leaving the school a 2:00pm for the performance and returning around 5:30p. Parents who attend will be chaperoning not only their child but also others as well.

Dues for our troops, which cover the cost of books and other supplies for girls as well as our snacks, are $60 for the year and are payable in $20 payments. The 1st dues payment was due on October 7^th. The 2nd dues payment is due to Mrs. Holman on November 4^th. The 3rd and final payment is due on December 5^th.

Breast Cancer Walk

Thanks to everyone who came out to support our participation at the Breast Cancer Walk. The girls had a great time handing out water. Click the link for our photo gallery to see some pics from the event.

Remind

We also use the Remind app for quick text reminders. It was quick and easy to join, so we added your cell to Remind but you had to accept the invitation. If you're not getting texts it means you probably texted STOP at some point in the past. Remind can't unblock the number, but you can.  You can re-join by texting the class code to the Remind number, 81010. Then text the correct code for your daughter’s troop to 81010 to receive text updates from our troops: Daisies – @tr21247; Brownies – @tr21248; Juniors – @tr21249; OGs – @tr21246. Don't forget to enter yours and your daughter's names; ie: Mrs. Smith (Jane)
