It's STILL Cookie Time

The initial order period has ended but now what? Keep selling because the cookie sale lasts until April 16. All late orders, re-orders, and booth sales count towards your final cookie total. There’s still time to earn a higher prize. The cookie will be back in late February. Stay tuned for pick up information. We’re also going to be holding booth sales, which is when we go out into the public and sell cookies.  Make sure you sign up for one. Remember, the sales from the booth sales are shared between girls to increase their prize level.

Beach Jam

Our end of the year trip will be to Beach Jam! What’s Beach Jam? It’s a weekend of waterparks, rides, barbecue and fun. The cost of the trip is $90 and includes admission, food, transportation and camping. We’ll be sleeping in tents on the beach in Wildwood, NJ. The trip is June 2nd-4th. A non-refundable deposit of $30 is due March 3rd. Girls can earn 30¢per box sold, to cover the rest of the trip. We only have 45 spaces on the bus, so unless you plan to drive, make sure your deposit is timely. All Daisies must be accompanied by an adult. The final payment is due May 15th and will be adjusted for cookie sales.

Dues, Dues, Dues!

Don’t forget- Girl scouts dues were payable in October, November and December. Even if you receive financial assistance for registration from the council, you are still responsible for your troop dues. Dues covers, books, snacks, materials. You are required to be current on your dues to participate in cookie sales and attend any trips for the remainder of the scout year. Individual dues notices will go home February 24th.

Calendar Changes

Due to the number of school holidays and Spring Break, our schedule will be off for February, March and April. We’re meeting the 1st, and 4th Fridays in February; the 1st, 3rd and 5th Fridays in March and the 3rd Friday in April. The exact dates are above and on the calendar tab. 

Double Good

The older girls will have a Double Good Pop-up shop in early February to cover their additional expenses and the airfare associated with the cruise. The girls will earn half of what they sell in popcorn to use toward the cruise. Please support them in their efforts. We'll share a general link once the sale goes live.
