Nut Sale

The Nut Sale started on Monday. All registered girls received have received a packet with the details. There are 4 ways to earn badges, 1) complete the address booklet, 2) enter 15 email addresses in Unify, 3) sell magazines & candles online, and 4) sell nuts & candy.  The address booklet is due October 12th. Money for the initial order is due October 20th. Orders turned in after this date will be back after Thanksgiving. All girls will be receive a summary form at this week's meeting. The summary form lists everything that must be handed in for the sale.The summary sheet must be totaled and turned in instead of the order form on October 19th.  

In The Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The girl scouts have our own breast cancer survivor, Ms. Vera. To show our support we’re going to help out at the Breast Cancer walk in Newark on Sunday October 21st.  We'll be handing out water to the walkers by Lincoln Park from 10:00a to 12noon.

Want to have some online fun and increase your fall sale totals? Log onto Unify, the girl scout online ordering system. You'll see your personalized page where you can create your own patches. If you missed the email, you can follow this link and go to UNIFY. Enter your email address and you're set to go. Send 15 emails to friends and family and you'll earn either the dog collar patch; send 30 and you'll earn the bone also. Remember to turn in your address booklet for the scarf patch!
