The Derby is Here!

Are you ready for the Mighty Girl Derby? The Derby is  Sunday, May 19th, 1-3p at Liberty Middle School located at 1 Kelly Drive, West Orange.  All cars must be weighed and inspected  on May 17th.   (Hint: You can buy weights from Walmart or Hobby Lobby to make your car heavier and faster). May the fastest car win!

GlassWorks

This is the final call for the GlassWorks trip on Tuesday, May 21st. The cost is $15 and was due May 10th. As a reminder, the bus will be leaving the school at 4:15p and returning at 7:30p.

Daisy and Brownie Mystery Trip. Not the camping type? We have a separate trip just for younger Girl Scouts. We are going to Just Bead Yourself in Westfield to make custom 2-piece jewelry sets on Sunday June 9th from 4-5:45. This trip is $20, however, girls can use up to $10 of their cookie credit to cover the cost. Payment is due Friday, June 7th. 

Among the Trees

Junior & OG Mystery Trip. Couldn't fit the overnight trip into your schedule? Here's the separate trip for older Girl Scouts. who want to tap into their adventurous side. We'e going to the Treetop Adventure Course at TurtleBack Zoo to complete an obstacle course 10 feet off the ground, on Saturday, June 15th, 1:45-3:30p Sneakers are a must! This trip is $20, however, girls can use up to $10 of their cookie credit to cover the cost. Payment is due Friday, May 31st. 

Ceremony

Please join us for our end of the year recognition ceremony on Wednesday, June 12th. Girls will be recognized for all the hard work they have done this year. It's going to be a great party! Let us us know if you would be able to donate a dish for the celebration. 

Registration It's time to register for the 2019-2020 Girl Scout year. As you recall, registration is $40 and must be paid every year. Registration packets will go home on May 17th and are due June 21st. There are 3 ways to register: online with a card, cash or check to the troop or financial assistance. Forms only need to be completed if you are requesting financial assistance. Please let me know if you would like adult financial assistance forms.
