Cookie Time

Cookie time is almost here! Our Cookie sale kick-off meeting will be Friday, January 2^nd and the Cookie Sale begins on Tuesday, January 7^th. Make sure your daughter attends the meeting, so you can get the information in a timely fashion. All parents MUST register for Digital Cookie. With Digital Cookie, parents can post links to the cookie sale on their social media sites to publicize the sale and take online cookie sales.

The initial order period is January 7^th – February 2^nd. This year, all payments for initial orders MUST be made online through Digital Cookie using a debit or credit card. Check out our Digital Cookie info sheet to find out more.

  

Dues 

You may have received a notice about dues. For clarification, the annual

girl scout fee is $115 for the year and consists of 2 parts. The $40 registration fee goes directly to the council and is paid online or through financial assistance; the $75 dues fee stays within the troop to support our activities, which should have been paid by then end of December. Dues must be paid for girls to participate in the cookie sale. 

Disney on Ice, Again

We liked it so much the first time, we’re doing it again! We have a limited number of tickets to see Disney on Ice–Dream Big at the Prudential Center in Newark on Friday, January 17^th at 7p). Tickets are $20 per person and all family are welcome to attend.  The tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis as we only have 60 tickets, in a similar section as before. Because it’s a Friday night, extra tickets will not be in the same section. Transportation to and from the show must be provided by parents.

Girl Scout Paint & Sip

We’re having our first outing of 2020! We’re going to a painting workshop at A Sip of Art in West Orange. The girls will have drinks and snacks as they do create their own work of art to take home.  Daisies & Brownies are painting from 12-2p and Juniors and Older Girls are painting from 3-5pm. As an added bonus, we’re having an adult Paint & Sip from 6-8pm for parents. The cost for girl scouts is $22 and $32 for parents. Parents can BYOB.

How Would You Like to Pay?

We have 2 ways to accept payments. Dues and trips can be paid through PayPal and CashApp. For Paypal, use our email address charter_girlscouts@yahoo.com or paypal.me/CharterScouts. You can also use CashApp. Our cash tag is $CharterGirlScouts. Both payment methods send the money directly to our bank account and give you automatic transaction records.
