Cookie Delivery 

This cookie season has been unprecedented. Due to slowdowns and ingredient shortages due to COVID, the supply of cookies has fluctuated. As a result, the cookie delivery has been delayed. Our new delivery will be the week of March 6th. An exact date will be given as soon as possible. 

These are the same issues that caused Adventurefuls to be temporarily unavailable. While the shortage of Adventurefuls has been fixed, there is now a permanent shortage of another variety. There will be no S’mores available for the remainder of the cookie sale. They have also been removed from the digital order card. Due to their ongoing shortages, Little Brownie Baker was forced to cut our order for S’mores in half. All of the S’mores we have are allotted and we cannot get anymore.

Please offer your customers who ordered S'mores another variety, so they will still be able to enjoy Girl Scouit Cookies.

Uniforms

Our Girl Scout uniform is a white shirt, khaki bottoms and official vest. If you received Financial Assistance from the council, please email info@gshnj.org to determine the status of your uniform credit.

 The vest can be purchased from the Westfield shop, which is located at 201 E. Grove St, Westfield. It is open Tuesday & Thursdays from 12-6pm. We are making a run to the shop on Tuesday. If you would like to have an official vest with insignia picked up, send your daughter’s name, size and the cost by Monday, February 21st. The cost for the vest and insignia are below.

All purchases will be delivered to girls on Wednesday, February 23rd. 

Dues 

As a reminder, all girl scouts, even those who receive financial assistance, are assessed annual troop dues of $60, which supports the troop. Financial assistance does not cover the troop dues. The dues cover the cost of books, other supplies and snacks. At the February 25th meeting, we will be sending home notices for girls who have outstanding dues.

How Would You Like to Pay?

We have 2 ways to accept payments. Dues and trips can be paid through PayPal and CashApp. For Paypal, use our email address charter_girlscouts@yahoo.com or paypal.me/CharterScouts.

You can also use CashApp. Our cash tag is $CharterGirlScouts. Both payment methods send the money directly to our bank account and give you automatic transaction records. Please let me know if either of these method do not work for you.
