Virtual Scout Meetings

Our 1^st virtual meeting is on Friday. May 1^st. The code for the Google classroom was sent this today.

1     .   Go to Google.classroom.com

2     .   Click on the + at the top right of the screen

3     .   Enter the 7-character classroom code to join

On Fridays, there will be a link in the classroom to join the virtual meeting.

Cookie Sale Update

We hope your cookies sales have been going well. The extended cookie sale ends on Sunday May 17^th, however there are several important dates before then. Thursday, April 30^th is the last day for digital cookie sales. Also, only cookies that are sold by Sunday, May 3^rd will count towards cookie prizes. Girls can still sell after this date (we still have a LOT of cookies) but they won’t be able to earn additional prizes.

Virtual Booth Sale

The shutdown happened the 2^nd week of booth sales, so we lost 3 weekends of sales and have over 1,000 boxes that must be paid for.  As a result, we’re having a virtual booth sale until Sunday. 

You can get a purchase boxes to eat or donate to essential workers. The number of each variety of cookies are listed on Signup Genius. Parents, family and friends can follow the link, select whether they want donation or contactless delivery and pay using CashApp or PayPal. The link is posted here, and also on our Facebook page. You can also share it to your family and friends for local delivery.

NMAAHC

Due to the coronavirus, instead of an end of year trip, this year we’ll be taking a beginning of the year trip. Before the shutdown, we were able to secure tickets for the African American history museum in Washington DC. The trip leaves Saturday, September 5^th and returns on Monday, September 7^th, as we’ll be visiting other sites as well. The cost of the trip is $120 per girl ($140 for parents) and includes the admissions, hotel accommodations (4 per room), meals and school bus transportation. A deposit of $50 per girl is due June 1^st. A 2^nd payment of $30 is due July 1^st and the final payment of $40 is due August 15^th. Girls can use their cookie credit to offset the 2^nd and 3^rd payments.  There is limited space on the bus, however we have extra tickets for anyone who would like to drive or bring family.

 

Beach Jam Canceled

Due to the Coronavirus, Beach Jam has been canceled for 2020. As a result, our trip has been postponed until our trip to Beach Jam is postponed until 2021.
