Registration

Is your daughter fully registered? The annual registration fee to join Girl Scouts is $40, which can be paid through CashApp ($CharterGirlScouts) or PayPal (charter_girlscouts@yahoo.com). You can also email Financial Assistance forms and proof of income. Girls must be fully registered to participate in the 2021 Cookie Sale.


Cookie Time
Cookie time is almost here! The Cookie Sale kick-offs on Friday, January 8th. Make sure you pick up you daughter's forms from 99 Washington St on Thursday, January 7th and Friday, January 8th. The prices of cookies have increased. Regular cookies are $5.00/box while premium cookies are $6.00/box. 

All parents MUST register for Digital Cookie. You'll get an email to register on Digital Cookie once your daughter is fully registered. With Digital Cookie, parents can post links to the cookie sale on their social media sites to publicize the sale and take online cookie sales.

The initial order period is January 8th – February 7th. Due to social distancing, all payments orders MUST be made online. You can place your order online and pay through Digital Cookie using a debit or credit card. You can also email your order to eoccs_girlscouts@yahoo.com and pay with PayPal, Venmo or CashApp. Check out our Digital Cookie info sheet to find out more.


Supply Refills & Food Drive

We'll be giving out refills for the supply kits for girls to to work on more badges. Pickup will be Wednesday through Friday, January 20th -January 22nd. If you have not yet picked up your initial supplies please let me know asap.

During the current health emergency, food insecurity is serious problem throughout New Jersey. So, we'll also be doing a Food Drive as a Community Service project. If you are able, please donate as much as you can of the following items. The most needed foods are canned fish or chicken; shelf-stable milk & juice; pasta, rice or instant potatoes; canned soup; peanut butter & jelly; and canned vegetables. 

  

My Hair, My Crown Workshop 


The My Hair My Crown workshop is designed to boost girls’ self-esteem, hair satisfaction and acceptance. Did you know girls as young as 8 years old report not liking their natural hair, and being teased or bullied for their hair?  The OGs are participating in this workshop on Friday, January 15th  and see how much it helps boost their confidence. Please email your daughter's name to MyHairMyCrown2020@gmail.com so you can register and get the permission slip. 




Dues 
Have you paid your dues? For clarification, for the 2020-2021 scout year,  the annual Girl Scout fee is $100 and consists of 2 parts. The $40 Registration fee goes directly to the council. The $60 dues fee stays within the troop to support our activities and should have been paid by the end of December. The dues enable us to pay for the girl scout supply boxes, their contents and patches 






How Would You Like to Pay?


We have 2 ways to accept payments. Dues and trips can be paid through PayPal and CashApp. For Paypal, use our email address charter_girlscouts@yahoo.com or paypal.me/CharterScouts. You can also use CashApp. Our cash tag is $CharterGirlScouts. Both payment methods send the money directly to our bank account and give you automatic transaction records.
