Camp-In Camp Out
Who says we can’t go camp during COVID? Connect with hundreds of Girl Scouts from across New Jersey for the all new winter edition of the Great New Jersey
Camp-In Camp-Out, Friday February 26th – Sunday, February 28th. The weekend kicks off Friday at 7:30pm, followed by a full day of activities on Saturday. You’ll end with a closing ceremony featuring a video of camp-in highlights on Sunday at 11:30am. You’ll complete Women in History trivia, build your photography skills, learn about nocturnal animals, test your winter survival skills, and so much more! And what would camping be without a campfire and sing-along? There’s even a dance party planned. The activities will be a combination of live and recorded events, and some that you can do offline with the troop. The cost is $10 per family ($20 if you haven’t paid your dues yet) and includes patches and is due February 19th.
Supply Refills &
Food Drive
We're finally giving
out the refills for the supply kits for girls to work on more badges. Pickup
will be Tuesday through Thursday, February 16th-February 18th.
Tie
Dye Party
Let's tie-dye! We’ll meet online on Saturday, March 20th,
12:00-1:30 to try different dyeing techniques. Your supply kit will include 4
dyeables (2 T-shirts, scrunchie & face mask) 4 colors of dye, squirt
bottles, rubber bands, gloves, plastic apron and instructions. You should plan
to work in an area with a mop-able floor. The
cost is $15 per girl ($25 if you haven’t paid your dues yet) and is due March
5th.
Dues
directly to the council. The $60 dues fee stays within the troop to support our activities and should have been paid by the end of December. The dues enable us to pay for the girl scout supply boxes, their contents and patches.
